    Who makes GroomRules, and why

GroomRules is booking, recall and client-record software for UK dog groomers, made by one person who got tired of watching groomers run six-figure businesses out of a paper diary and a WhatsApp thread.

    What it is

A booking link that asks about the dog first, so the slot and the price are right before the booking reaches your diary. Recalls by text and email that bring every dog back when it's due. Client and dog records that build themselves. Your income grouped by UK tax quarter. It costs £29 a month for one groomer and £59 for a team of up to ten, with 30 days free and no card to start. Every feature is listed here, including the ones that aren't built yet.

    Why it exists

The booking tools groomers were using didn't know what a dog was. Every booking was a one-hour slot, whatever walked through the door, and the groomer paid for that in gaps, undercharging and message threads that ran for days. The marketplaces fixed the diary and then took a cut of the clients. Nobody was building for the groomer who already has the clients and wants the day to run itself.

So GroomRules starts from the dog. The breed, the coat and the last groom decide the time and the price. The recall interval decides when the owner hears from you. The rest is a diary that does what a good receptionist would.

    Who makes it

Owen Fleming founded GroomRules and builds it. There is no sales team, no support desk and no chat widget. Email owen@groomrules.com and Owen reads it and replies himself, usually within one working day. If something in GroomRules doesn't work the way your salon does, that is the address to tell.

    The company

GroomRules is a trading name of Northwall Technologies Limited, registered in England and Wales, company number 16873407. Registered office: 71 to 75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ. The record is public on Companies House.

    Where your data lives

Your data is held with UK and EEA based providers under UK GDPR. Stripe handles subscription payments, Twilio sends the texts and Resend sends the email. The booking page logs each client's acceptance of your terms. Your clients and their dogs are yours: GroomRules never sells to them, never lists you on a marketplace and never puts another groomer in front of them. The processors, what each holds and your rights are set out on the GDPR page and the privacy policy.

    Schools and partners

Newly qualified groomers from Trendy Pooches get a set-up offer so their first business runs on breed rules and recalls from day one. If you run a grooming school and want the same for your graduates, email Owen.

    What groomers say

"Wow. Your app is amazing. It does so much that other booking tools can't do." Jasmin, Buddy's Cabin Dog Grooming. "Amazing, better than anything I have tried so far." Kerry, HappyTails. "Just Brilliant." Stacey, DTails UK. All three are quoted with permission, by name and business, on the homepage.
